Pediatric Dentistry At I-Rise Dental Boutique
At I-Rise Dental Boutique, we understand that your children are treasures and you want more than just a bright, healthy smile from their pediatric dentist. That is why we have created an environment with your kids in mind. When you bring your child in for a visit with Dr. Anu Mohan and our team at I-Rise Dental Boutique, you will see how we go that extra mile to ensure that your child’s visit with our team near Rancho Peñasquitos is rewarding, informative, and (most of all) fun!
We understand that a bad dental experience in these early years can impact how your child views seeing the dentist. We want to eliminate any fears or anxiety they may have about returning for subsequent visits. Dr. Mohan takes the time to develop a trusting and friendly relationship with you and your child so that each visit is pleasant and calm.
More Than Just an Exam
When you bring your child in for a visit with Dr. Mohan, you can expect that it will be more than just a basic examination of your child’s oral health. We heavily encourage parents to ask any questions about their child’s developing oral health.
Do you need tips/tricks that will make brushing your child’s teeth easier? Do you have a specific concern? Now is the time to ask. Dr. Mohan takes great pride in providing educational tools to children and parents alike. This education is shared in a way that is easy to understand and is empathetic to your situation.
We want your child to understand there is no need to be scared of seeing the dentist. If your child has any fears or anxiety, we offer dental sedation options to make their visit with us more comfortable and pleasant.
Your Child’s First Visit to The Dentist
Our team understands that you only want the best for your child, so we provide only the best and most effective pediatric dental care here at I-Rise Dental Boutique. Our practice has been designed with our youngest patients in mind so that they can have a comfortable dental experience that keeps them at ease throughout their visit. This is especially critical to those children visiting us for the first time.
It is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD) that children see the dentist once every six months starting from the time their first teeth break through or when they turn one year of age, whichever occurs first.
When you bring your child in for their first visit with Dr. Mohan, she will perform an oral examination of their mouth, teeth, and gums to ensure everything is developing as expected. This first visit is usually quick and easy for both parent and child. We encourage parents to use this first visit to ask any questions they may have.
We are happy to offer the following treatment options to our pediatric patients:
- Teeth cleaning
- Dental sealants
- Fluoride treatments
- Dental bonding
- White fillings
- Dental sedation
- And more
