Your Child’s First Visit to The Dentist

Our practice has been designed with our youngest patients in mind so that they can have a comfortable dental experience that keeps them at ease throughout their visit. This is especially critical to those children visiting us for the first time.
It is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD) that children see the dentist once every six months starting from the time their first teeth break through or when they turn one year of age, whichever occurs first.
When you bring your child in for their first visit with Dr. Mohan, she will perform an oral examination of their mouth, teeth, and gums to ensure everything is developing as expected. This first visit is usually quick and easy for both parent and child. We encourage parents to use this first visit to ask any questions they may have.
